Chatham Marina Rally

Five sabres came along to the Chatham Rally this year. I was there with Gentle Nimbus, Joy Ginn with Gayaneh, Blue Mist owned by Graham Pelling, Shamal with Neil and Alison Munro, and Sandusky with Stephen and Sue West on board.

Having arrived long after the others we were made very welcome by the marina staff, and more welcome by the other Sabres. After having a quick drink we ajourned to the pub (the Ship and Trades) where we tried to get a meal but they had run out of food... Joy Ginn was not pleased, so we bought some drinks and asked if we could eat the fish and chips we bought round the corner. After going back to the boats, we had a late sundowner on Gayaneh where the gin and wine flowed freely. Unfotunately, Gentle Nimbus had to leave at an early 0700 hours to get home.
